Also, make sure to check out the keyboard. Women tend to not have much of an issue here, but for many of men this could be a deal killer. Men usually have larger fingers which have a lot of difficulty making their way comfortably across the keys. That is one reason why talking to different people about the same product might not yield the greatest suggestions for you.

Spend some time typing on some of the models of mini notebook PCs and see if you typing skills diminish greatly. Some netbooks have built their keyboards in such a way that the keys are flat and with small to no space between the keys making it easy for the larger fingered of us to hit more than one key at a time.
